Solution Architect

Is Inspired is seeking a solution architect who understands the IT deployed within channel infrastructures. You will work on projects assisting our customers in assessing their current channel technology stack, defining practical next steps toward a longer term approach to enable a simplified partner experience and engagement that will provide a competitive advantage, and support their channel growth strategy across all of the target partner business models. You must have both an understanding of system strategy, trends and ability to document architecture and processes as well as an understanding of the indirect channel. A person who has worked previously at a channel partner is a bonus. This is a remote, part-time consulting position with flexible hours that will require the individual to work with Is Inspired and its clients to manage channel infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Channel Infrastructure Maps - Document the current state of a customer's system architecture that supports the channel sales process including systems and data flows.  This involves reviewing existing documentation, working with the operations/IT organizations to explore what is being used to address the different processes and then documenting them in easy to understand architecture maps and flows.

Develop Process Flows - Develop process flows for the high priority business processes including the people, data and systems that are used.  Identify quick wins and priority problem areas.  Transform the "as is" process flows to future state process flows to support process, data and system enhancement recommendations.

Translate business requirements into infrastructure gaps and quick wins - Translate the customer's channel business requirements into recommendations for process, data and system enhancements

Distributed Team Management - Lead the project team drive delivery using contemporary distributed team skills and technology including chat, video conference, and collaborative workspaces.

Qualifications

Deep understanding of SFDC - An understanding of SFDC, how it operates and integrates is a requirement.  Admin or developer certificates and experience with SFDC Communities is a bonus.

Up to Date on Technology Trends - Has an understanding of technology trends such as Robotic Process Automation, Kubernetes, Extended Reality, Data Structures and Transformation, Integration Technologies, Predictive analytics and AI, etc. and the ability to translate them into practical applications.

An Obsession for Solving Tough Problems in Creative Ways

Project Leadership - Proven ability to lead projects and drive delivery across departments and organizations (eg. Client and Vendor) without direct organizational authority.

Experience Managing Complex Software Implementations - Proven track record of implementing or supporting software implementations including project documentation, timeline management, issue management and resolution and testing management.
